Aledo Volunteer Fire Department

Mission Statement:
To provide a variety of services to protect the lives and property of the community we serve by providing prompt and professional services in the event of fire, disasters, or any other event which may threaten the public welfare.
Brief History / Additional Information about the Organization:
The Aledo Fire Company was established in 1875. For over 125 years the 25 volunteers of the Aledo Fire Department have dedicated themselves to serve this community. We take pride in providing our community with a high level of fire protection and community service. This level of fire protection was recently rewarded with an improvement in our ISO rating. We were able to lower our classification from a 6/9 to 4/8B. This 4 rating has put us in the top 15% of ISO ratings of Fire Departments within the State of Illinois.
Regular Meeting Times: Meeting and training sessions are held the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month.
