Just found your site. Great site. I wish I lived closer by to be able to attend your Rhubarb Festival. I love the U.S.A., and we often travel there, but so far we have not visited Illinois. We do have a Rhubarb Festival, (the "Rosy Rhubarb Festival in Shedden", ON), about one hour drive from our home. I LOVE Rhubarb, and have begun a website devoted ENTIRELY to EVERYTHING Rhubarb. Feel free to visit it, and try one of the 100's of recipes included!

Just moved to the area. Drove over the festival on a whim. Had a great time! Real nice downtown, festival area and people. Music was enjoyable, lots of benches to rest on all over the area. We heartily recommend this festival to anyone looking for a fun day-trip. Oh, and the rhubarb pie a-la-mode was wonderful, too.

I am the Program Manager for Main Street Punta Gorda, Florida. Last year, my husband and I visited Aledo. He is a graduate of Roosevelt Military Academy and he took me back to see where he went to school. I was very impressed with what your Main Street has done - this was before I became a part of our Main Street. I have seen your video and wish you the best of luck at becoming the National Main Street for 2010. You certainly deserve it!
